When I decided to train as a coach, I knew I wanted to work with women who had been through something. Not because I had a clinical interest in trauma. Because I was one of those women, and I knew what was missing.
What was missing was a practitioner who understood both the nervous system science and the human reality of what it means to be a woman rebuilding. Who could hold the clinical knowledge alongside a genuine understanding of what it's like to have children, a business, a life that needs to keep going, while also trying to heal.
Trauma-informed doesn't mean trauma-focused. It means the practitioner understands how trauma affects the nervous system and designs the work accordingly. It means going at the pace of the client's nervous system, not the pace of a programme. It means building safety before anything else.
You are not a project to be completed before you begin. You are not a draft. You are not still loading.
This work is for you as you are, right now. The whole person. Not the polished, ready version.
