I began from humble beginnings at a market stall on Portobello Road and gradually transitioned to wholesale and luxury retail across the globe, even managing production from my own bedroom at the start. I vividly recall the exhilarating moment when I assured my first major buyer from Reiss that I could produce 50,000 pieces weekly. It was an ambitious claim, especially since I was still crafting those pieces in my bedroom, driven by sheer determination to exceed expectations.

✴︎ Confronting Challenges: My entrepreneurial journey has been fraught with significant challenges, including instances of overextension that resulted in substantial losses due to stock mismanagement. These trials have imparted invaluable lessons about the necessity of running a business with sustainability and strategic foresight. I adapted by transitioning to
a smaller online business model, allowing me to balance my entrepreneurial aspirations alongside motherhood.

✴︎ Unyielding Commitment: My resolve to make my business thrive is unwavering. I am determined to explore avenues that will keep Anna Lou alive, even amidst the trials of motherhood and personal struggles. I am confident that with the right resources and

✴︎ Taking Bold Risks: At the tender age of 23, I secured a remarkable £45,000 order, which propelled me to fly to China to meet with producers, ensuring that rigorous quality checks were implemented for my products. Following that, I ventured to India to source exquisite gemstones for a high-end jewellery collection, immersing myself in the intricate process to
guarantee the finest materials were selected.

✴︎ Navigating Personal Difficulties: Throughout this journey, I have faced the complexities of being a nurturing mother to three children while also contending with an abusive ex- partner. Despite these personal challenges, I have remained steadfastly committed to my business, which I regard as my first child. I have learned to adapt and recalibrate, pausing my business when necessary and planning to reinvest in it once my coaching initiatives gain traction. My aim is to maintain Anna Lou of London as a well-established brand, poised to flourish once the timing aligns.

✴︎ Holistic Approach to Business: I firmly believe that my brand can embrace a broader vision without being confined to a specific niche. I am excited to introduce Anna Lou Wellness where I can seamlessly weave my passion for jewellery with wellness practices. I take great pride in having pivoted my business to focus on intentional jewellery and gemstones that carry significance and connect with the wellness journey. This integration not only elevates the aesthetic of my creations but also aligns them with a deeper purpose of healing and self-exploration.

✴︎ Welcoming Change: At present, I feel that my life is in a state of alignment, even though I lack a definitive vision for where I’ll be in five years. Life’s unpredictability is something I embrace wholeheartedly, focusing instead on maintaining a high frequency that draws in positive outcomes.
